Contributed to the certification of a new German Android payment app, using my experience to resolve issues and support smooth collaboration between offshore and international teams. Validated certification fixes with automated tests using Robot Framework in a Dockerized QA environment, improving process efficiency and reliability. Took ownership of legacy C applications (Android KitKat) after major layoffs, delivering new features and bug fixes for MDB vending integration and migration projects, demonstrating initiative and process improvement mindset.
Worked on the development of Kotlin applications for Android-based payment terminals used in the retail sector. Mentored new team members, performed onboarding, and adapted legacy Kotlin/Gradle projects to modern KMP standards. Provided client and field support for major sponsors (Axepta, KBC, Exxon), including issue tracking, terminal configuration, and end-to-end testing.
Adapted legacy C components from the Worldline ZVT German solution to run as Android services on android KitKat (4.4) payment terminals. Developed and validated vending and petroleum features for the German market payment terminals.
Developed and validated Linux-based payment terminals tailored for the German retail and petroleum market. Implemented ECR protocols (ZVT, IFSF, DPS) and created comprehensive documentation for customer integration.
Led BlueWiki intranet project for R&D, created pages using FrontPage, organized training, and asked team members to volunteer to manage content.
