Capacity building for emergency preparedness and in public works in preparation for the Big One, Philippines. Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Migration Project. UNICEF – Modelling Coping Capacities for Eastern Europe. Spatial mapping and analysis for ECCAS project of Republic of Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo. Desk research for forest fire capacities of Nepal in collaboration with EURAC.
Processed, cleaned, and validated large geospatial datasets for exposure and vulnerability analysis. Built indicator databases using spatial attributes and metadata. Created GIS workflows for multi-hazard information products and spatial decision support.
Conducted suitability and zoning analyses using QGIS and ArcGIS. Performed land-use/land-cover mapping and change detection for environmental planning. Worked with spatial datasets linked to municipalities and environmental agencies.
Taught QGIS and ArcGIS workflows: data input, geoprocessing, map creation, symbology, database management, and spatial analysis. Delivered training on raster and vector geoprocessing, classification workflows, and cartographic standards.
