I am a Cybersecurity expert with over 30 years of IT experience. I have worked in the private sector but most of my career has been supporting the military. Whether it was serving as active duty, a military contractor, USAA employee or a civil servant I have always served those who protect us. I am methodical and logical in troubleshooting by actively make use of ITIL best practices. I am an automation enthusiast that uses Perl and PowerShell to automate jobs with scripts to ensure consistency and correctness while saving time and money. I like to write cross platform (Unix, Linux, and Windows) scripts that will work regardless of the environment with Perl and now I am researching using PowerShell on Linux for that purpose as well. I have experience supporting web applications running on IIS using .Net and Apache Tomcat with Java. As such, I have studied programming in Java and .Net to better support such applications.
