I am a Senior System Engineer specializing in automation, scripting, and predictable, stable infrastructure operations. Most of my work focuses on VMware environments, where I use PowerShell and PowerCLI to audit ESXi hosts, manage configuration drift, and migrate workloads between VMware and Azure Local. I prefer scripted, repeatable processes over manual configuration. I design and maintain automation that removes repetitive work, including tools for certificate deployment, PKI maintenance, and service-desk-driven provisioning of accounts, groups, and mailboxes. Security and compliance are handled using a structured, data-driven approach. I use Tanium for real-time auditing, software lifecycle tracking, and internal baseline compliance checks. I perform regular audits of Active Directory permissions, privileged groups, file server ACLs, and ESXi host configurations. My goal is to maintain a stable, secure environment by replacing one-off manual fixes with scalable, automated processes. Monitoring is an essential part of my workflow. I deploy, configure, and maintain monitoring platforms such as Nagios XI, and I automate host onboarding to ensure complete visibility. I actively use monitoring data for capacity analysis, failure diagnostics, and detection of configuration issues.
