As a Software Engineer at Kapernikov, my diverse set of responsibilities spans multiple domains:
Machine Learning Development:
• Active involvement in the development of the Centertrack model for product detection and tracking.
• Development of a YOLOv8 object detection model for industrial maintenance, with a focus on training it exclusively on synthetic data generated through a Unity-based image generator.
• Development of a semantic segmentation model using U-Net for defect
detection in the food industry.
MLOps and System Integration:
• Contribution to the design and implementation of an efficient MLOps pipeline.
3D Development:
• Specialization in Unity for synthetic image generation, ensuring realistic and effective training datasets for machine learning models.
• Implemented a 3D simulator using Unity, allowing experimentation with different combinations of camera positions and orientations. This aimed to find the optimal configuration to maximize the number of frames containing products, thereby enhancing the likelihood of successful object detection.
Web Interface Development:
• Development of a user-friendly web interface, using Agile Methodologies, to streamline the measurement of catenaries in the Infrabel railway system.
Key projects :
• Cleaning, processing, and visualization of dynamic data on web map using Python.
• Implemented a program for optimal pathfinding in the London metro using various search algorithms.
• Developed a 3D Connect 4 game with an AI using MinMax algorithm and Alpha-Beta pruning.
• Created a timetable management program based on constraint programming with a web interface.
• Successfully developed a virtual reality conferencing application using Unity, Photon PUN, and Photon Voice, incorporating an HTTP
server for dynamic PowerPoint file management, overcoming various technical challenges.
• Design of a 3D mobile application integrating augmented reality, artificial intelligence with genetic algorithms for level optimization.
