Produced detailed scientific research reports that review technology, AI, microlearning, and online learning against the backdrop of the global education crisis.
Used Excel and R to extract, transform, and analyse ~2,500 items from 28 ESM research projects, exploring process automation. Explored ways to automate the extraction and transformation of 4,300 items from a systematic review of ESM research for mood disorders using R and Excel. Completed Phase I preregistration for a study on adolescent social interaction quality using advanced structural modelling on longitudinal data.
Coordinated North-West University's involvement in the AitaHealth app, overseeing strategic planning, project management, and legal agreements to drive the adoption of the app by health-care workers in the North-West province of South Africa. Conducted comprehensive training on health data collection and technology adoption, equipping over 100 healthcare workers across four districts with the necessary skills and knowledge. Facilitated communication between government, university, and business stakeholders for the app's roll-out and usage.
Performed 2,100 hours of practical research work, including data collection, analyses, and project management. Performed quantitative data analyses in SPSS and qualitative data analyses in ATLAS.ti. Published two psychology articles in international journals and presented at the PsySSA conference. Spearheaded the practical work of Masters Psychology students. Managed ethical approval workflow of over 50 scientific studies. Managed the fieldwork, logistics, and data collection of the we-DELIVER research project. This project aimed to improve services for older people in rural South African communities using information and communication technologies (ICTs).
